After having suffered a serious explosion damage, CMA DJAKARTA was towed to Viktor Lenac shipyard to undergo a complete restoration and renewal. The ship was totally flooded in the N°5 and N°4 cargo holds.
Cleaning of damaged vessel:
Unloaded 312 damaged containers
Scrapped 267 containers
Cleaned and reloaded 45 containers
Pumped out and disposed 2.800 tons of oily water
Disposed 2.900 tons of debris in burning mill
Steel renewal:
Complete section of N°5 cargo hold - 1,120 tons
DB section of N°4 cargo hold - 60 tons
Bottom - 230 tons
Hull - 195 tons
Electrical and piping renewal:
Renewed 75 km of electrical cables and 480 m of pipes
Anti-corrosion treatment:
Ballast tank coating, 50.000 sqm
Gritblasting, 32.000 sqm
Painting complete superstructure and ER, 38.000 sqm
